China orders more milk testing, HK boy sick
In the latest effort to combat the tainted milk scandal that killed four babies, China has recalled all milk and milk powder more than a month old. Meanwhile, a 2-year-old boy in Hong Kong has developed kidney stones after consuming contaminated products, bringing the number of sickened children there to eight. State media said all the mainland's milk powder and liquid milk produced before September 14 - regardless of brand - was ordered pulled off the shelves to be tested by manufacturers. This was the first time since the scandal began that such a blanket recall was issued. The government said products will be sold only after they pass quality tests and are labeled as safe.
